In a changing climate and society, water storage systems play a key role in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. The BERLIN project aims to understand and model how human decision-making shapes the dynamics of water systems. By integrating observational data, Machine Learning, and social sciences, BERLIN develops innovative behavioral models to assess climate-related risks and support evidence-based, local adaptation strategies across diverse climate change hotspots.
